Rather than addressing femininity as an isolated subject, Anyells approaches it as a lens through which wider systems become visible: power, desire, labour, care, institutional violence, aesthetic discipline and control over the body. The figure of the lamb operates as a central metaphor, tender, silent and offered to the gaze, embodying the tension between softness and exposure, tenderness and sacrifice.
The website functions as the project’s conceptual and visual framework, while the newsletter acts as its living core, delivering monthly letters that blend theory, literature, personal experience and visual references. Together, they form an editorial ecosystem that resists neutrality and embraces subjectivity, contradiction and discomfort as necessary tools for awareness.
Designed and developed as a unified visual and narrative object, Anyells positions reading as an act of resistance and collective thinking, offering companionship rather than comfort, and reflection rather than resolution.
