Movement direction for a short film

Estrelleta is a performative short film exploring personal transformation through the analogy of a starfish. Just as a starfish can regenerate its lost arm, humans grow and reinvent themselves after change or loss.

The story follows l’Estrelleta, a detached arm embarking on its own journey. Over time, the other arms reappear, completing the star and symbolizing the process of personal growth and reconstruction.

The project blends dance and performance with models and dancers, where every gesture and position was carefully choreographed to balance interactions and convey the film’s dramaturgy. This visual and choreographic piece reflects how, after life’s changes, we reconnect with ourselves. Transformed, yet whole.
