they might have merged through their spines is a photographic series exploring a surreal journey through perception, disorientation, and connection. The narrative follows two individuals who find themselves in an unknown, empty space, entering a trance that makes them dance and discover a world completely detached from reality.

Their journey continues as they move by car to a forest, where they dance under the moonlight. The red lighting symbolizes the intimate connection between the two, tracing their physical and emotional bond. The series intentionally leaves the ending ambiguous, leaving viewers questioning whether they ever awaken from this transformative experience.

Through carefully choreographed gestures, movement, and composition, the work merges narrative, performance, and visual art, creating a poetic exploration of desire, transformation, and the threshold between reality and imagination.
